Tech Data offering McAfee cloud-based SaaS in U.S.

Tech Data has announced a distribution agreement with McAfee to provide McAfee’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to Tech Data’s channel of solution providers through the company’s TDCloud business unit in its Solutions Store.

McAfee Software-as-a-Service delivers complete endpoint, email, and web security through the cloud, saving the IT department time, effort and costs as solution providers for their end-user customers. McAfee SaaS integrated suites protect against viruses, spyware, web threats, and other attacks on PCs, laptops, and file servers, while freeing IT staff from complex deployments, upgrades, and security management. The McAfee Software-as-a-Service Email Protection solution delivers effective, efficient, and fully managed protection against viruses, spam, phishing, zero-day attacks, and other potential email threats—while  McAfee Software-as-a-Service Email Archiving provides unlimited, in the cloud storage for email. McAfee Software-as-a-Service Web Protection blocks viruses, zero day attacks, suspect sites, and other web threats in a fully managed cloud solution.

The dedicated McAfee team at Tech Data offers its channel of solution providers an exclusive enablement tool called TDCatalyst—providing customized training and resources to help partners grow their McAfee business and services. The TDCatalyst program streamlines the route to market process for new and existing McAfee Security Alliance (MSA) partners, while guiding the customer through all partner level stages. Additionally, the Tech Data team facilitates the education process pertaining to the McAfee security solutions offered, providing the resources and support needed for successful selling.
